These chicken strips are very juicy inside and crispy on the outside, bathed in traditional barbeque sauce. Mmmm… if you ask us, they’re finger lickin good.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 1/2 chicken breasts cut into thick strips
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon finely-chopped parsley

Preparation

Place in three different containers the flour, egg, and crushed cereal with breadcrumbs. Add salt and pepper to the flour.

Bread each chicken strip by first coating it in egg, then rolling it in the flour, dipping it in the egg again, and finally, the bread-cereal mixture.

Fry the chicken strips in hot oil and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Coat with the bbq sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
